Calais Camp, THE JUNGLE

This is the camp of Migrants and Refugees in Calais, France.


Most of them are from Eritrea, Ethiopia, Libya, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Sudan and Syria.

"Everyone who is in this camp in Calais, want to go to England."

Approximately 4,000 people live in the camp near the port city of Calais. The vast majority are young, but there are also a few women and children.


Most of them are from Eritrea, Ethiopia, Libya, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and Sudan. Several refugees are from Syria.



Most of them traveled for weeks or months or even years wandering the European countries with the aim of reaching Calais, which lies 30 miles from English Channel to England.



The condition of the camp is not quite good for any human to live there.
Camp is surrounded by dumps, that it causes health problems for residents.

Diseases such as eczema (rash) is common - eye diseases and infections chest pains caused by dust and sand.
